As Christians we are utterly dependent on God for everything, so it's really important to spend time with God, talk to Him, ask Him for what we need and thank Him for all He's done.  This year we want to make a special effort to commit everything to do with SMCU to prayer and we'd love it if everyone joined in!

Here's a bunch of stuff to be praying for and thanking God for, and a few ways to get fully involved!

We now have our SMCU phone! All you need to do is text us with a prayer request and it will be prayed for at that day's prayer meeting.  Great if you won't be able to make it there yourself!  If you text us over the weekend or it's a really urgent one, we'll try to group-text everyone so whatever and whenever, you'll be covered in prayer.

One way to support SMCU is to register yourself as an official pray-er!! Email the team with your full name and 'ADD PRAYER' and we'll put you on our list.  There's no commitment involved.  You'd just be opening up the potential to pray more effectively for the CU.  Here's how! We'll send you a weekly email letting you know what's going on during the team meetings and what's happening in the CU as a whole.  This email will be sent to anyone who's interested so tell people at home about it and ask if they'd like to know what they can be praying for!  It'd be wonderful to have a real network of people from across the country praying for St Mary's!
